حسین رونقی ملکی، وبلاگ‌نویس منتقد دولت ایران که در اعتصاب غذا به سر می‌برد، به دلیل وخامت وضعیت جسمی به بیمارستان هاشمی‌نژاد تهران منتقل شده است.

این زندانی سیاسی که ۲۶ سال دارد، از حدود دو سال و نیم پیش بدون مرخصی در زندان بوده است.

خانواده آقای رونقی می گویند که او هم‌اکنون دچار نارسایی حاد کلیه است، ولی با وجود توصیه پزشکان تاکنون اقدامی برای درمانش انجام نشده است.

یکی از نزدیکان آقای رونقی ملکی امروز دوشنبه ۱۵ خرداد، به بی‌بی‌سی فارسی گفت که "حسین همچنان در بیمارستان در اعتصاب غذاست و گفته که به شرطی حاضر است تحت عمل جراحی قرار بگیرد که مسئولان زندان با مرخصی درمانی او بعد از جراحی موافقت کنند."

به گفته او، آقای رونقی اجازه نداده است پزشکان بیمارستان به او سرم وصل کنند.

حسین رونقی ملکی تاکنون چند بار دست به اعتصاب غذا زده و براساس گزارش‌ها، در آخرین مورد، از روز ششم خرداد در اعتصاب غذا بوده است.

در نامه‌ای که وبسایت کلمه، از سایت‌های وابسته به مخالفان حکومت ایران، منتشر کرده، آقای رونقی ملکی اعلام کرده است که این اعتصاب غذا "در اعتراض به ناروایی‌ها و شکایت از دخالت‌های سازمان اطلاعات سپاه و وزارت اطلاعات در امور قضایی و سلب استقلال قوه قضائیه و تلاش برای احیای قانون اساسی، آیین دادرسی، استقلال قضایی و احیای حقوق زندانیان سیاسی و خانواده‌هایشان از جمله برخورداری از مرخصی، تلفن و ملاقات" انجام می‌شود.

گزارش شده است که به توصیه پزشکان، او باید از سه ماه پیش برای درمان بستری می‌شد، ولی هر بار اندکی پس از انتقال به بیمارستان، دوباره به زندان بازگردانده شده است.

پیش از این، احمد رونقی ملکی، پدر حسین، به بی‌بی‌سی فارسی گفته بود: "بر اساس مدارک پزشکی، کلیه چپ حسین به شکل کامل و ۲۰ درصد از کلیه راست او از کار افتاده است."

حسین رونقی ملکی در آذر سال ۱۳۸۸ در شهر ملکان در نزدیکی شهر تبریز بازداشت و به تهران منتقل شد.

او که با نام مستعار بابک خرمدین وبلاگ می‌نوشت، یکی از معترضان به نتیجه آخرین انتخابات ریاست جمهوری در ایران بود.

دادگاه انقلاب اسلامی او را به تحمل ۱۵ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم کرده است.

آقای رونقی ملکی دوره محکومیت خود را در زندان اوین می‌گذراند و خانواده‌اش گفته‌اند که با وجود موافقت مسئولان قضایی، نهادهای دیگری مانع اعطای مرخصی به فرزندشان می‌شوند.
